While many people considered the possibility of fingerprint identification on a simple lock somewhat of a science fiction happening, notwithstanding the fact that biometrics has been used by corporate, government and military organizations. GTL brought the exotic nature of such systems out of the world of hundred thousand dollar systems into an affordable $600 lock.

Underneath the James Bond excitement of a biometric lock, our models also introduced several new benefits derived from fingerprint identity. Small businesses responded when they have high security rooms accessed by limited managers. Such rooms usually required stringent control of keys, and often required a change of locks and duplication of keys when employees leave. The Fingerprint Lock handles the situation
